The Fronteras Desk had a feature on the Bishop Wetlands Restoration Project, which is located along the Rio Grande near Presidio, Texas. The design and implementation was lead by the talented staff at Fred Phillips Consulting. LLC (FPC). Oxbow Ecological Engineering, LLC provided engineering design services for the project, and developed grading, water delivery, and water control plans for the wetland complex, in close coordination with FPC’s restoration team. The birds really seem to be enjoying this new chunk of habitat.
